In addition to the above, we look for people that possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the role. However, we are always willing to train anyone with the right attitude and desire to grow, as you can't teach hospitality. 1+ years of serving experience, preferably in an upscale casual or fine diningsetting. A general understanding and passion for Food, Liquor, Wine and Beer. Ability to follow and execute steps of service. Understanding that we are Hosts and Facilitators, not simply order takers. Ability to maintain menu knowledge - including allergies, restrictions, modifications etc. An understanding of anticipatory service. An understanding and comfort with our changing menu, our execution of service and our standards following training, and the ability and desire to consistently deliver on all of the above. Able to understand and solve problems with a calm and collectivedemeanor. Understand the importance of community outreach and contributing to the neighborhood.
